Objectives & Role: 
My volunteer role with the Metro Cinema is to create fun and eye-catching movie posters. The Metro Cinema is an independent movie theatre in Edmonton, Alberta. The posters can be created in any way that suits the film as long as they are formatted for both print and digital. 

Final Results: 

• There is a lot of flexibility in the visual directions I am able to go in. Overall, the posters are a great opportunity for visual exploration and creative expression.
• I always start by watching the movie and taking note of interesting scenes or thematic elements that could be represented in the final poster.
• ​Poster styles vary depending on the genre of the movie. A central guiding focus is for each poster to have a unique and recognizable identity. Every poster needs to feel fun and eye-catching.
